Composition Senior Recital

Catalog description

This course consists of the final preparation and presentation of a juried recital during the final semester of coursework (half in performance medium, half in composition). The course includes the presentation and acceptance of a pre-recital hearing to a faculty panel at least three weeks prior to the scheduled recital date. A written theoretical and historical analysis/description of the music to be performed is also a component of the course.
