Catalog description

This course has four parts: 1. Coursework dealing with beginning strings classroom instruction, i.e. management, age-appropriate lesson planning, delivery, score preparation, etc. 2. School observation/teaching 3. Refinement of skills on secondary string instruments. 4. Study of beginning string method books and supporting literature. Outcomes will focus on the actual teaching of materials present in instruction.
