RixStix Drumline

Catalog description

This ensemble provides rudimental percussionists a quality experience in the world of drum line performance. Placement auditions are required and enrollment is limited to the instrumentation listed below. In addition to regular performances with other members of the RixStix family (see Music 325), the drum line actively seeks the opportunity to enhance campus activities and community events. The line consists of a frontline ensemble and a maximum battery instrumentation of 5 snares, 5 basses, 3 tenors, and 5 cymbals. Auditing may be allowed with instructor approval.
