Catalog description

This course focuses upon the study of music within the history and humanities of Western Civilization. In addition to the fundamental knowledge of western civilization students will also develop fundamental listening and writing skills, anticipating the more advanced requirements of the required upper-division music history and literature sequence. Successful completion of Music 102, 301, 302, and 303 satisfies the Foundations World requirement.
