Catalog description
This course is designed to acquaint the student with our musical heritage and its relationship to history and the other arts. The student will acquire a basic musical vocabulary useful for discussing and writing about music. Curriculum to be determined by instructor, i.e., classical emphasis, jazz emphasis, etc. The course is for non-music majors, music minors and some music clusters.
