Catalog description

This course delves into Category Management and CPG sales in the retail environment. Students will learn key concepts such as the DPSM (Distribution, Pricing, Shelving, Merchandising) framework, shopper insights analysis, and retail math for SKU selection and pricing. Through real-world data sets and analytic tools, students will develop strategies for category growth. The course also covers effective negotiation techniques for securing product placements and increasing sales. The goal of this course is to allow students to become proficient in conducting analyses, making data-driven decisions, and communicating strategies.
