Catalog description
This course introduces the basics of electric circuits, sensors, actuators, feedback control, and programming microcontrollers. Basic electric components and modeling basic circuits for application in mechatronic systems will be covered. Various types of electric actuators and sensors will be covered for use in simple closed-loop feedback systems. A microcontroller will be used to integrate the sensors, actuators, and circuitry into a complete mechatronic system and designed to automate a mechanical system.
