Catalog description
Designed for future teachers to build understanding of the connections between the mathematics course they are currently taking and the mathematics they will be teaching. Course content will focus on: (1) Developing a personal philosophy of mathematics including its learning and teaching. (2) Understanding mathematics teaching standards. And (3) Building content knowledge involved in the development of algebraic thinking.
