Practicum in Floral Design

Catalog description

This course provides hands-on training and instruction in retail floristry to prepare students for internships and employment in the floral industry. Emphasis will be placed on practicing floral skills and techniques, floral nomenclature and floral merchandising. Practicum students will also have the opportunity to help design flowers for campus events such as weekly devotionals, and graduation.
