Catalog description
Students will take a beginning look at the world of floral design. Course instruction focuses on the principles and elements of design as applied to floral art. The student will also learn about proper care and handling of fresh flowers, and how they are harvested and distributed around the world. Students will learn to identify the most popular flowers in the floral industry. Students will participate in hands-on floral design in weekly labs.
