Catalog description
In this course students will learn the history, structure, and function of the United States healthcare system. Throughout the course, students will also learn about organizational governance, basic management principles, the nation's physician workforce, healthcare industry regulation, health insurance, and healthcare reform. Lastly, students will work in teams to present on current healthcare issues and discover job opportunities within the healthcare industry.
