Catalog description
This course is a project-based class that introduces the spatial concepts and theory of GIS (Geographic Information Systems), building on skills developed in GIS 150. Students use industry-standard GIS software (ArcGIS Pro) to apply location analytics and solve spatial problems in diverse disciplines. Students are prepared for intermediate-level GIS internships and to apply GIS in varied fields and careers. This course is part of the GIS certificate and minor.
