Catalog description

This lab course complements the Geology 111 lecture by providing students with hands-on opportunities to learn and identify basic minerals and rocks. It also provides exposure to identifying and interpreting landforms and features from topographic maps, remote sensing images, and geologic maps. A highlight is a field trip to study local geology.
