Catalog description

Students will be introduced to the ethics and basic concepts of using DNA as a tool in genealogical research. Additionally, they will learn how to use autosomal DNA and X-DNA to enhance genealogical research and how to use DNA results in research reports. Students do not need to have taken a DNA test and they will not be using personal DNA results in the course.
