Catalog description

This course is an introduction to professional genealogical research principles, processes, and basic record groups. Students will learn to define the research objectives to solve a problem, plan out research, and log information gained through research. The course uses United States research examples to illustrate the principles and approaches used in family history research and can be applied to regions worldwide.
