This course provides students with a broad introduction to residential interior design. Specific topics include: the process and profession of design; the elements and principles of design; color theory; floor plans, housing, and building systems; architectural detail; furniture selection and arrangement; space planning; universal and sustainable design; lighting; interior finishes, window treatments, and accessories.
