Internship

Catalog description

Internship credits are exempt from tuition charges. However, an administrative fee equal to one credit hour at the current rate of tuition will be charged for an internship course. The fee is in addition to any tuition charges for other classes. Fees are charged independently of tuition and are not subject to the 12-credit tuition cap. In this course, students will apply their knowledge and skills by working in a family or human service setting that services children or families. Students will also gain applied knowledge by receiving supervision from an on-site supervisor. Students are required to serve at the internship placement for a minimum of 160 hours that are spread over a minimum of 7 weeks.
