Internship

Catalog description

Internship credits are exempt from tuition charges. However, an administrative fee equal to one credit hour at the current rate of tuition will be charged for an internship course. The fee is in addition to any tuition charges for other classes. Fees are charged independently of tuition and are not subject to the 12-credit tuition cap. In this course students will complete a job-related experience pertinent to their major and career aspiration. Likely fields for internship opportunities include but are not limited to physical therapy, chiropractic, fitness centers, sports medicine, high school strength and conditioning, and research positions. This course is normally taken during the flex semester of student's senior year. Shadowing does NOT qualify as an internship.
