Catalog description

This course provides a capstone experience for English Majors. In depth reading, discussion, and careful analysis of consequential literary works are at the heart of this senior level course. In-class presentations of student research are required. English 495 culminates in a significant research paper representing each student's best work as a critical thinker and interpreter of literature.
