English Internship

Catalog description
This course offers students credit as they apply their English studies in a practical, professional environment through a structured internship. Students gain hands-on experience, develop industry-relevant skills, and integrate academic learning with real-world application. Students are encouraged to arrange their own internships. The English Department is also available to guide students to opportunities. Students can register for up to six credits total (one credit equals 70 hours of internship work). This class is repeatable up to six credits. Internship credits are exempt from tuition charges but do incur an administrative fee equivalent to one credit hour's tuition. Internship credits are not included in the 12-credit fulltime student minimum.
