Catalog description

This course is designed to teach the skills necessary to be a successful dance teacher in all genres and for all ages. To impart knowledge and provide opportunities for critical thinking regarding dance and dance teaching, as well as opportunities to acquire and practice course organization and teaching skills. Students will explore in-depth aspects of owning, running, or teaching in a school or studio setting. Complete studio handbooks will be created for individual use, along with developing the skill and personal philosophy to be successful in an educational setting.
