Catalog description
Students will learn the fundamentals of dance techniques in Modern dance, emphasizing development in body, motion, space, time, and energy awareness. Students will learn key historical figures in the form to deepen understanding of Modern dance as an art form. Acceptance in the course and progression to DA 340R, DA 440R, and DA 443R will be based on successful completion of this course and a competency placement audition.
