Catalog description
This course is meant to be fun and exciting! Students will create a real project of their choosing that will help them to gain excitement about continuing in one of the computing majors. This is a 2-credit course designed to provide junior students in Computing Degrees at BYU-Idaho with the opportunity to engage in hands-on project development to complete a real product. This course is intended to be taken during the junior year, any time after completing CSE 310. Students will have the freedom to choose and develop a project of their own interest, leveraging the skills and knowledge acquired from previous coursework or personal exploration. The course emphasizes self-directed learning to create a real-world product. Students will not be provided with formal learning materials or structured assignments. Instead, they will have the autonomy to define their project scope, set milestones, and implement solutions using appropriate technologies and methodologies.
