Catalog description
This course is a study of the tools, materials, codes, procedures, and industry practices used in the construction of structures. Topics include construction drawings, codes, materials, introduction to estimating, introduction to scheduling, site layout, foundations, floors, stairs, walls, and roofs. Classroom discussion and lab experiences help students understand the processes used in residential and light-commercial construction.
