Catalog description
This course explores communication research, clear thinking, and clear presentation. At its core, the course teaches skills that enable students to analyze and present data in clear and actionable ways -- that is, the course teaches students to become data storytellers. The course explores communication theory, research methods, sampling, basic stats like regression, clear writing, and identifying quality sources. It provides teaching towards basic proficiency in Excel, in Datawrapper, and in writing. The course provides insight into communication research for careers and life.
