Foundations Early Child

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the early childhood profession and to the knowledge, skills, experiences, and values needed to be a competent, ethical, and effective early childhood educator in infant-toddler, preschool or after school settings. It provides an overview of the historical foundations of the early childhood profession, ethical and professional responsibilities, models of curriculum, developmentally appropriate educational practices, and components of quality programs for young children.
