Catalog description

This is a first-semester analytical chemistry course that emphasizes quantitative analytical techniques, laboratory instruments, and data evaluation. Course topics include solutions, experimental error, statistics and calibration curves, quality assurance, complex chemical equilibria and activities, acids and bases, titrations, electrochemistry, spectroscopy, and chromatography.
