Catalog description

This course focuses on the application of soil mechanics principle to geotechnical engineering design. Topics include slope stability analysis and design considerations for shallow foundations, deep foundations (piles and drilled shafts), and retaining walls. Emphasis is placed on practical design approaches, engineering judgment, and solving real-world geotechnical problems.
