Fisheries Techniques

Catalog description

This course introduces fisheries techniques and analyses. Successful fisheries scientists must be creative and be able to think critically to develop innovative methods for completing fisheries projects. Students will be introduced to and will practice common sampling and analytical techniques fisheries biologists use to obtain necessary information to manage fish and their habitats. Additionally, students will have opportunities to develop further oral and written communication techniques necessary for communicating with diverse stakeholders.
