Catalog description
This course involves the study of reproduction of cattle, sheep, horses, and pigs. Students will receive instruction in basic reproductive anatomy, and the processes involved in prenatal development, puberty, conception, and parturition. Application of reproductive principles as used in estrus synchronization, insemination, ultrasonography, and embryo transfer will be taught.
