Catalog description
This course is an introduction to common veterinary parasites. It will cover the life cycles, pathogenesis, identification, and treatment of the common parasites of most domestic animals. This course will also discuss the relationship between parasites and the overall health of the host animal. In addition, the zoonotic potential of disease transmission by parasites will be explored.
