Catalog description
This course introduces the seven pillars of animal science emphasized in the Animal Science program. These seven pillars are preconception/genetics, reproduction and pregnancy, nutrition, production management, behavior/handling/welfare, health and disease, and benefit and use to mankind. The laboratory will support class learning and introduce students to our facilities and animals.
