Catalog description
This course is a study of the basic features of the federal income tax laws as applied to individual taxpayers. It emphasizes compliance procedures, the determination of taxable income, and the determination of the tax liability. Students learn to communicate using common income tax terminology and obtain practical experience with tax compliance by preparing income tax returns.
