This one-credit course will meet once a week for 50 minutes and will provide future healthcare professionals the necessary tools on how to communicate with Spanish-speaking patients by gathering demographic information, comforting the patient, inquire about allergies, symptoms, and pain. It will also overview the basic principles of inter-cultural communication.
