Healthcare Quality, Outcomes, and Evidence-based Care

Catalog description

This course highlights the tenets of three critical functions of healthcare administration. The quality module focuses on methods and measures that improve the patient experience, the health of populations, reduces the per capita cost of healthcare, and reduces clinician and staff burnout. The outcome module focuses on the seven healthcare outcomes used by CMS and investigates metrics for measurement. The evidence module focuses on the importance of the three pillars of evidence-base care: research; clinical experience; and patient needs.
