Catalog description
This course covers all aspects of effective project management. It explores the project management phases of project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling and closing. Key concepts including agile project management, resource management, procurement management, project management information systems, quality management, the triple constraints of cost, schedule and scope and the importance of customer satisfaction are discussed. Risk, stakeholder and communication management are also covered, as are the skills, tools and techniques applied by effective project managers. Practical examples are employed throughout the course for additional perspective.
