This course is designed to help students structure a meaningful counseling session integrating basic aspects of neuroscience. Understanding each microskill in some way affects the functioning of the brain though neuroplasticity. This course will use an interactive approach to learning and will include both lecture and step by step process to students conducting "mock interviews." This course is a great course to prepare students for graduate school in the helping professions.
