Literature review EDLD 813 Section A is designed to be taken in the summer of the first year after students have taken introductory research and quantitative research methods in the program. Conducting the literature review helps refine the student's topic, the dissertation proposal, and prepares students for writing the Human Subject approval application. Literature review theory focuses on the theoretical assumptions associated with the dissertation topic. This course should be taken in the second year of the program after EDLD 813A Literature Review has been taken.
