Catalog description
This course introduces undergraduate students to the fundamentals of network security and the protection of modern digital communications. Students explore how data moves across networks, the common threats that target networked systems, and the basic controls used to protect devices, infrastructure, and information. Through guided labs and real-world scenarios, students develop digital literacy, analytical thinking, and ethical awareness related to securing wired, wireless, and cloud-based networks.
