Catalog description

This course will offer a comprehensive overview of the U.S. legal system, including an overview of legal practice sources and techniques with emphasis on the major substantive areas of the law. Students will begin by examining issues in constitutional law, with an overview of how government functions and how laws are made. A legal writing segment of the course will allow students to use legal analysis while refining their writing skills. 3 3
