Organizational and Systems Nursing Leadership Practicum II

Catalog description

Building on leadership principles and management competencies developed in NUR 631, this practicum provides students the opportunity to work alongside nursing leaders in diverse settings to practice strategic responsibilities, such as leading organizational change, financial stewardship, and systems-level decision-making. Students will explore resource allocation, policy development, and performance management. Throughout the practicum, students will analyze the impact of legal, ethical, regulatory, and financial factors on organizational performance and patient outcomes in diverse populations. This practicum prepares students to make strategic, data-driven decisions and lead healthcare organizations.
