This course provides a comprehensive foundation in the application of quality improvement (QI) methodologies and the measurement of outcomes across diverse healthcare settings. Emphasis will be placed on the integration of QI tools and techniques to assess and improve healthcare delivery systems. Students will critically examine how local, regional, national, and global structures, systems, and regulations impact healthcare outcomes for individuals and diverse populations. The course will also support students in refining the skills necessary for data-driven decision-making and project management, essential for completing their Capstone project and contributing to ongoing improvements in healthcare systems.
