The increasing demand for nurses to assume leadership roles in healthcare organizations underscores the importance of developing effective leadership skills. This course provides students with a foundational understanding of nursing leadership and management, focusing on the personal attributes, strengths, and challenges that influence leadership effectiveness. Through an exploration of contemporary leadership theories, students will gain insight into essential leadership competencies, including communication, decision-making, and conflict management.
