Catalog description

Group instruction in music composition. Through guided creative work, students develop their expression through sound. DAWs, aesthetics, analysis, harmony, counterpoint, orchestration, aural skills, keyboard skills, score study, and musicianship are directly brought into the course as they pertain to the students' creative work and development of their unique expression of musical creation. May be repeated up to a maximum of 12 credit hours.
