Catalog description

Communication Anxiety and Apprehension is a one-credit experiential lab designed to help students understand, manage, and reduce anxiety across communication contexts. While public speaking anxiety is widely recognized, this course expands the focus to interpersonal, group, academic, and professional communication settings. Through scaffolded practice, reflection, and evidence-based anxiety management techniques, students build communication competence, confidence, and transferability of skills. Repeatable up to 3 credit hours.
