Catalog description
This course introduces students to design thinking as a flexible, human-centered approach to solving complex, real-world problems. By integrating methods from design, psychology, business, and engineering, students learn to approach challenges with empathy, creativity, and strategic thinking. Through hands-on projects and interdisciplinary collaboration, students will practice framing problems, ideating solutions, building prototypes, and testing ideas all while learning to communicate effectively across disciplines.
