Catalog description

Principles, mechanisms of action, therapeutic indications, contraindications, therapeutic effects, side effects and toxic manifestations of pharmacological agents encountered in the practice of Respiratory Care. Clinical and legal considerations related to medication administration are also covered. Guidelines for using pharmacological agents in specific disease states and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures are presented. Three hours of lecture per week.
