This course is designed to prepare future educators to meet Ohio’s 12-Hour Reading and Literacy Core Standards. This course is designed to teach candidates about formal and informal methods of diagnosing, assessing, and monitoring progress in the areas of reading and writing. Approved for distance education. Prerequisite(s): READ 4000 or EIEC 2130 or EDIS 3010 or EDTL 2420 and READ 4010 or EIEC 3120 or EDIS 3050 or EDTL 3010 .
