Catalog description

This class focuses on the unique health challenges, needs, and outcomes of people living in rural areas of the United States. There is an emphasis on how broad systems affect health disparities, with additional focus on how location, access to care, access to affordable and nutritious food, culture, socioeconomic status, job opportunities, and education influence health and wellbeing.
