Developmental Psychobiology

Catalog description

This course explores how a single cell can develop into a functioning brain, the most complex machine on the planet. Through a combination of lecture and discussion of original research articles, we will examine the foundational mechanisms of neurodevelopment. The course will also include an introduction to brain maturation during adolescence, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
